Bridgestone Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, is the world's largest tire and rubber company. The 13,000 employees of Bridgestone Europe have decided to GET UNITED in showing strong support to those affected by the Japanese disaster, through the creation of a voluntary donation scheme. The total employee contribution will be matched by the company. In addition, Bridgestone Europe has decided to donate €250,000 to the fund. All of the collected money will be transferred to the Japanese Red Cross to be used to relieve the consequences of the recent devastating earthquake and tsunami.
