With the recent rise in VAT, national insurance, and not to mention surging petrol and energy prices - millions of Brits are now starting to face the squeeze on their money. So the big question is will Brits have the know how to manage their money in 2011?
New research released today by learndirect suggests half of Brits think they will have at least £25 per week less to spend this year, with more than a quarter preparing to be at least £50 per week worse off. But around two thirds feel too confused to make the best choices with their money, and a third say they don’t have the right skills to properly manage their cash.
